Invisible Fence Training
Pro Line effectively and compassionately conditions your dog to understand and respect new boundaries using a progressive approach. Our innovative incremental program minimizes the challenges often associated with traditional training by employing barely perceptible levels of collar stimulation, akin to a gentle tickle, during the initial training phase. As your dog progresses, we gradually increase correction levels and supplement with frequent and positive training sessions to ensure a successful outcome.
To train your dog on an invisible fence, we use flags as visual markers. These flags are placed along the perimeter of the designated boundary where the invisible fence is installed. During the initial training phase, we introduce the flags to your dog in a controlled and supervised environment, allowing them to approach and become familiar with their presence.
We then use positive reinforcement, such as treats, praise, or other rewards, to reinforce the association between the flags and the invisible fence boundary when your dog stays within the designated area. If your dog tries to approach or cross the flags, we provide corrections, usually in the form of mild static stimulation from the invisible fence collar, to help them understand that crossing the flags is not allowed.
As your dog becomes proficient in understanding the boundaries, we gradually remove the flags one by one until your dog can stay within the designated area without the need for visual markers. Ongoing training sessions are conducted regularly to reinforce your dog’s understanding of the invisible fence boundaries, using positive reinforcement to reward them for staying within the designated area.
